My signature style for Love, Jessica has been gray and teal. I decided it's time for a refresh. I'm usually not a pink girl, but I am IN LOVE with this black, gray and hot pink combo. The peony watercolor art is so beautiful (and they're my fave flowers). I've started updating my website and Etsy look. I will also incorporate this look in my business stationery and my studio.

Early last year I designed Marilyn's wedding invitations. She loved her invitation design so much that she wanted to know if I could design some stationery to match.
In this world of texting and email, I still think everyone enjoys receiving some good old fashioned handwritten mail. Personal stationery makes a thoughtful gift for not only a wedding but any occasion! If you are interested, contact me for details. I'm a designer. I like things to coordinate. So, it's no surprise that I am often disappointed in the stamps that the post office has to offer. There are usually generic wedding themes with a cake or roses, which are okay, but not great.
This year I'm including a custom design stamp with all orders! The stamps will be designed to perfectly match your stationery. They will be available from my Zazzle.com store. The stamps are available for purchase in different denominations, remember to have your invite or save the date weighed before buying stamps. *Postage rates are increasing at the end of January 2014! I'm so excited to announce my Esty shop is now open! Here you will find exclusive new designs as well as some popular designs I have done in the past.
The designs available are perfect for someone who is looking for a unique invitation, but wants to avoid the extra cost and time of full custom design. Each design offered is customizable through wording, paper, ribbon and ink. Samples can be ordered, or if you are local, set up an appointment to view them in person. Stop by Etsy and check it out! Marilyn and Adrian were my first 2013 wedding! Marilyn came to right before Christmas and was anxious to get the invites out for their March wedding. In order to meet the tight deadline, she chose the semi-custom option and used a design from my portfolio.
We worked together through phone and email conversations to design coordinating pieces including menus, place cards, table numbers and cocktail napkins with their logo. Marilyn was so gracious throughout the process. Congratulations to this lovely couple! I'm excited to now offer beautiful custom guest books! Each book is handcrafted with 360 signature lines on twenty pages. Pages are acid free, heavy weight with a satin finish. Lies flat when opened and contain 100% acid free pages. Book size 7x 10-1/2". Page size is 6-1/2" x 10". The cover is 100% silk dupioni fabric. The cover fabric comes in a varitey of colors.
I will create a custom layered tag that is mounted on the front. Add embellishments like ribbon, rhinestones or a rhinestone buckle. Contact me for more information and pricing. I had the pleasure of designing Heidi and Brian's wedding stationery. Heidi is the sister of my friend Lori Witmer of Wildflowers by Design. So as you can imagine, having a florist for a sister equals amazing wedding decor. In fact, I just discovered that their wedding is featured in Lancaster County Magazine January 2013 issue. (Hoping to get my hands on a copy!) Here are a few images. Check out all of the lovely images of the day courtesy of (mattnnat).
Hands down the most creative invitations I designed in 2012! Alicia and Drew had a true vision for their "Alice in Wonderland" wedding. I was super excited to dive into these. The challenge was combining so many bright colors and yet keeping it romantic and elegant. A quote from Alice was included on the invitation.
I had the pleasure of working long-distance with Denise and Stephen.
Denise was inspired by Vera Bradely "Very Berry" paisley print for her wedding colors. I incorporated a similar paisley border on the invitations. Tri-fold programs were also designed to match. I've been trying to catch up and post all of the weddings I've done in 2012, and it's proving to be a challenge. Since it's the new year, I had to skip ahead and share my first New Year's Eve wedding with you. Nicole and Jason were married on Monday night in New Jersey. I've been working with them for over a year, planning and designing so many details for their stationery. The perfect combo of wedding and party, the New Year's theme was thoughtfully incorporated throughout. A bowl of resolutions was available for guest to take and make. Instead of passing out individual ceremony programs, a large chart was placed on a easel listing the wedding party and participants. Pretty glitter place cards greeted guests at the reception.
