Hands down the most creative invitations I designed in 2012! Alicia and Drew had a true vision for their "Alice in Wonderland" wedding. I was super excited to dive into these. The challenge was combining so many bright colors and yet keeping it romantic and elegant. A quote from Alice was included on the invitation.

I've been trying to catch up and post all of the weddings I've done in 2012, and it's proving to be a challenge. Since it's the new year, I had to skip ahead and share my first New Year's Eve wedding with you. Nicole and Jason were married on Monday night in New Jersey. I've been working with them for over a year, planning and designing so many details for their stationery. The perfect combo of wedding and party, the New Year's theme was thoughtfully incorporated throughout. A bowl of resolutions was available for guest to take and make. Instead of passing out individual ceremony programs, a large chart was placed on a easel listing the wedding party and participants. Pretty glitter place cards greeted guests at the reception.
Lindsay and Adam requested this unique tab style invitation for their vintage inspired wedding. A matching program was also designed. Pretty green and navy!
Jen and Matt had a "modified" beach wedding. The wedding was held at the Lancaster Marriott, so Jen brought the laid back beach style inside.
There were so many details with this wedding. Right down to the basket of flip flops Jen and Matt provided for their guests, so they could kick of their shoes and really enjoy the party! I loved working with Jen, she had a lot of great ideas and was so excited to see it all come together. Here are a few lovely images from their wedding captured by The Susquehanna Photographic. You can actually feel the fun! Navy and hot pink invitations made for a pretty, preppy style for Jessica and Michael's wedding stationery.
The monogram from the invitation was carried throughout the wedding stationery. Other pieces that were designed: place cards, signage, a large seating chart (not shown) and favor stickers. A great tip for indicating guest meal selections is by using color rhinestones. Blue (for beef) and pink (for chicken) stones were used on the top of their place cards. Another cool idea I've never seen... they used cd sleeves for their cookie favors. I made the sticker wrap to keep the sleeve closed. Congratulations to Jessica and Michael! One of my favorite stationery sets of 2012! Jane and Ken celebrated their wedding on May 19th. A church wedding followed by an intimate reception at The Altland House, surrounded by their close family and friends.
Jane was a dream to work with. She was loved the idea of having all of the stationery details match from beginning to end! The invitation was designed using shades of cornflower blue and ivory. A peony theme was perfect for the spring season. The theme was carried through other stationery including programs, place cards, table numbers, menus, favor tags and thank you notes. Jane loves her "bling" so rhinestones were an important touch added to almost each stationery item. Congratulations to this sweet couple! |
