I had the pleasure of designing Heidi and Brian's wedding stationery. Heidi is the sister of my friend Lori Witmer of Wildflowers by Design. So as you can imagine, having a florist for a sister equals amazing wedding decor. In fact, I just discovered that their wedding is featured in Lancaster County Magazine January 2013 issue. (Hoping to get my hands on a copy!) Here are a few images. Check out all of the lovely images of the day courtesy of (mattnnat).

Hands down the most creative invitations I designed in 2012! Alicia and Drew had a true vision for their "Alice in Wonderland" wedding. I was super excited to dive into these. The challenge was combining so many bright colors and yet keeping it romantic and elegant. A quote from Alice was included on the invitation.
I had the pleasure of working long-distance with Denise and Stephen.
Denise was inspired by Vera Bradely "Very Berry" paisley print for her wedding colors. I incorporated a similar paisley border on the invitations. Tri-fold programs were also designed to match. I've been trying to catch up and post all of the weddings I've done in 2012, and it's proving to be a challenge. Since it's the new year, I had to skip ahead and share my first New Year's Eve wedding with you. Nicole and Jason were married on Monday night in New Jersey. I've been working with them for over a year, planning and designing so many details for their stationery. The perfect combo of wedding and party, the New Year's theme was thoughtfully incorporated throughout. A bowl of resolutions was available for guest to take and make. Instead of passing out individual ceremony programs, a large chart was placed on a easel listing the wedding party and participants. Pretty glitter place cards greeted guests at the reception.
Jen and Matt had a "modified" beach wedding. The wedding was held at the Lancaster Marriott, so Jen brought the laid back beach style inside.
There were so many details with this wedding. Right down to the basket of flip flops Jen and Matt provided for their guests, so they could kick of their shoes and really enjoy the party! I loved working with Jen, she had a lot of great ideas and was so excited to see it all come together. Here are a few lovely images from their wedding captured by The Susquehanna Photographic. You can actually feel the fun! Congrats to Alison and Milorad! They were married in early December at the Capitol in Harrisburg.
Alison had a vision of a winter day for their wedding. She wanted to use shades of blue and purple with lots of sparkle. She chose a 5 x 7 panel style invitation. The invitation was printed on bright white and layered on metallic Sapphire and Lavender. A silver ribbon wrapped around the back of the invitation to hold the inserts into place. Of course, lot's of rhinestones were also added. A number of reception pieces were created to carry the theme through the wedding, including menus, favor cards, and table names. I even created a sparkly dog tag for a life-size floral replica of "Lucy", their dog, that welcomed guests into the reception. Alison was such a sweet bride, she thoroughly seemed to enjoy wedding planning and had so many personal details incorporated into the wedding. She informed me that guests were calling to r.s.v.p. because they wanted to keep the whole invitation as a keepsake! My very best wishes to the newlyweds! |
