Congrats to Brittany & Jake!
Brittany and Jake kicked off their rustic, elegant Lancaster County wedding with cute map save the dates. Each city noted the significance to the couple and invited guests to join them in Lancaster for their summer wedding. The reception was held on Brittany's family farm.

Lauren and Brian had to be the busiest couple I've ever worked with. Both of them were in law school, Lauren graduated only a couple of weeks before the wedding!
Since their profession is a huge accomplishment and such an important part of their lives together, Lauren and Brian decided to subtly incorporate it into their wedding invitation by using their last names and logo similar to a law firm "Willis & Hokamp". A number of other items were designed to coordinate, including: menus, place cards, table numbers and stickers. They also had me design a 20 page cook book featuring Rose's (Lauren's mom) amazing cookie recipes. Rose made all of the cookies for a dessert table so guests could take some home along with a cook book. What a special touch. The details of this wedding were carefully thought-out and came together beautifully. No doubt that their guests were impressed! The wedding was absolutely gorgeous. A bunch of my favorite vendors also collaborated for this wedding including Weddings by JDK and Jasmine at Couture Cakery. Click here to see some images from the wedding, courtesy of Jasmine. Congrats to "Willis & Hokamp"! Phhheww! It has been a crazy 2012 season already! I have met with so many wonderful couples and have taken on some really fun, creative projects! I just hope I can keep up with the blogging to share them all.
I absolutely love, love, love these adorable save the dates for Brittany and Jake's summer wedding. The wedding reception is being held on a family farm and Brittany envisions a rustic yet elegant feel. First up were the save the dates. She wanted a map telling their "story". I tied in the twine for that touch of rustic and kept the fonts and artwork fun and elegant. I am currently working on the invitations and can't wait to share - there is burlap and woodgrain paper involved...so cool. |
